Cardamom — Terms of Use

Cardamom is developed and operated by Cardamom App LTD, a UK-based company.
By using the Cardamom app or website, you agree to these Terms of Use.
They are designed to keep Cardamom fair, safe, and privacy-focused for everyone.

1. What Cardamom Does

Cardamom lets you store and display loyalty-card barcodes on your device and, if you choose, make them available to other users as community barcodes.
Cardamom is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorised by any retailer or loyalty programme.

2. Using Cardamom Responsibly

You agree to:

  • Use Cardamom only for lawful purposes.

  • You can add any barcode to store locally on your device.

  • Only enable sharing (“Make barcode available”) if you have the right to share that barcode.

  • Check a retailer’s terms before using any community barcode in-store.

  • Not use Cardamom to misrepresent, resell, or abuse loyalty schemes.

You are responsible for how you use any barcode.
Cardamom does not verify the ownership, validity, or permissions of barcodes shared by users.

3. Community Barcodes

If you enable “Make barcode available”, that barcode may be visible to other Cardamom users.
You can disable sharing or delete your barcodes at any time.
Cardamom may remove any barcode or account at its discretion—for example, if we receive a complaint from a retailer or believe these terms have been breached.

4. Programme Respect Policy

Cardamom encourages respect for all retailer loyalty programmes.
We do not promote or facilitate use of barcodes contrary to a programme’s rules.
If we are notified that a barcode infringes a retailer’s terms or rights, we will review and may remove it promptly.

5. Account and Sign in with Apple

Cardamom uses Sign in with Apple to create a secure, anonymous login.
You are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple ID.
Cardamom App LTD cannot recover your account if access to that Apple ID is lost.

6. Availability and Liability

Cardamom is provided “as is.”
We do our best to keep the service running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee that any barcode will be accepted by a retailer or that rewards or discounts will be applied.
Cardamom App LTD is not liable for any loss, damage, or refusal of benefits resulting from the use of Cardamom.

7. Intellectual Property

All Cardamom branding, design, and code are owned by Cardamom App LTD.
Retailer names and logos may be referenced for identification only and remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Changes and Updates

We may update these terms from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on our website.
By continuing to use Cardamom, you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction.
